Day One of Multiplayer Cram-Fest


I am really tired today. I worked out way too much yesterday to make up for all of the not working out I did through this past miserable/glorious year. Forgive the crappy format. I am pooped and I just need to show a time line of my progress as proof that I did this. (hopefully we.)

I wanted to finish implementing a few things for day one of this game, but fell relatively short. Actually not too short at all. 

We got:

connectivity: we can join a game with other players, our health, shields, player names, characters, position and animations are synched across the net. You can name your character. The workings are all in place to change the hair, eyes, horns and a couple other surprises.

The transition from the lobby into the room are set in place.


Why did we fall short? Well, I have to create hundreds of animations, and 11pm is getting late for me. I think I know what I have to do all day tomorrow......

Hoping to get all of the animations done tomorrow. With any luck, I will have enough sanity to start working on player customization (the attached menu looking screen.) That will be for Saturday likely. Followed by a character controller, at which point we are ready for what really matters. Guns.
